To thoroughly implement key directives regarding establishing and practicing correct attitudes towards performance in work, fulfill overseas work and missions, and strengthen the ideological foundation of staff stationed abroad, the European Company of the International Cooperation Corporation held a special symposium on establishing and practicing correct attitudes towards performance in work on May 30. Professor Ding Ronggui, Dean of the School of Management, Shandong University and Vice President of IPMA, was invited to deliver a lecture. Zhang Aimin, Director of the China Cultural Center in Belgrade, was invited to attend the symposium, and employees from the European Company and specialized units based in Europe participated in this meeting.

The symposium specially invited Professor Ding Ronggui, an authoritative expert in the industry, to give a live lecture and discussion. Drawing on his profound theoretical knowledge, broad international vision and abundant practical experience, Professor Ding systematically elaborated on the core connotations and practical requirements of correct attitudes towards performance in work by integrating theory with practice. Closely connected with the realities of overseas operations, his presentation conducted an in-depth analysis of how to advance project development, management, handover and follow-up development by identifying principal contradictions and prioritizing key work phases under the guidance of correct attitudes towards performance in work. His sharing provided professional guidance and intellectual enlightenment for all participants to fully understand and conscientiously put correct attitudes towards performance in work into practice.

Drawing on the European Company’s overseas business development, Professor Ding noted that attitudes towards performance in work act as a “compass” and “baton” for Party members and officials in their work. The type of attitudes towards performance in work directly determines the company’s development direction, work efficiency and long-term business outcomes. Working overseas entails distinctive environments, hard tasks and unique missions. Apart from shouldering corporate internationalization, overseas staff bear the important responsibility of serving national strategies and showing the positive image of Chinese enterprises.
The symposium marked a crucial step for the European Company in strengthening ideological development among overseas personnel, cultivating a pragmatic work ethic, and ensuring alignment with the goals of enterprise advancement. Centering on the symposium’s theme, participants engaged in in-depth exchanges and built consensus based on duties in their own position, overseas market expansion, project construction and operational management. They worked toward integrating the correct performance attitudes into every aspect and stage of overseas work.
